Marcia S. Ivans is a member of The International Women’s Writing Guild and
Women Who Write, where she serves on the Board. She has appeared on Patriot Media’s Community Corner television program. Ms. Ivans was the subject of a feature article in The Daily Record of Morris County, and her work has been published in Goldfinch: The Literary Magazine of Women Who Write, in 2005 and 2007; The Independent Press of Morris County; The Chatham Courier; The Recorder Newspapers of Morris County; Compassionate Friends of Morris Area Chapter Newsletter; Chapter II of Somerset Hills, NJ; and M Magazine - The Best of Morris County; Morning Light -Newsletter Published by Interregnum; The Mewsings-Online Literary Journal By The Montclair Editors and Writers Society; Contributing Writer-Morning Light Newsletter Published by Interregnum: Grief, Loss and Transition Services. Ivans is the founder of Poetry and Pastries, a bi-monthly open poetry reading at Café Beethoven in Chatham which she has facilitated for three years. |
